Xaurora AB – Deposit & Payment Policy

1. Deposit Requirement

A deposit is required in order to initiate vehicle sourcing services or to secure a vehicle purchase through Xaurora AB. The deposit confirms the buyer’s intention to proceed with the purchase process and allows Xaurora AB to begin negotiations, place bids, or reserve vehicles on behalf of the buyer. Deposits remain valid for a period of twelve months unless otherwise agreed in writing. Xaurora AB will not initiate sourcing activities, negotiations, or bidding processes until the required deposit has been received unless otherwise agreed. This may also include on-site sourcing activities in Japan and engagement with local dealers and partners.

2. Deposit Amount

The required deposit amount may vary depending on the value of the vehicle and the nature of the transaction. In most cases the deposit will represent a percentage of the expected purchase price or a fixed amount agreed upon between Xaurora AB and the buyer prior to initiating the purchase process. Deposit amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the vehicle value and transaction circumstances. Deposits are typically within the range of 5–10% of the expected vehicle value.

3. Use of Deposit

Deposits may be used to secure a vehicle with a seller, place bids at auctions, cover initial administrative work, or initiate the sourcing process. Deposit amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the vehicle value and transaction circumstances and are typically within the range of 5–10% of the expected vehicle value unless otherwise agreed.

4. Non-Refundable Deposits

Once a vehicle has been successfully purchased, reserved, or secured on behalf of the buyer, the deposit becomes non-refundable. This reflects the commitment made by Xaurora AB when acting on behalf of the buyer in negotiations or auctions.

5. Refund of Deposits

If a vehicle has not yet been purchased or secured and the buyer chooses to cancel the request, a refund of the deposit may be issued. Refunds may be subject to deductions for banking fees, inspection costs, administrative costs, or other expenses incurred during the sourcing process. Administrative work carried out prior to cancellation may be deducted from any refundable deposit. Such deductions may include, but are not limited to, inspection costs, administrative work, banking fees, sourcing services already performed, or other expenses incurred during the sourcing process.

6. Payment After Purchase

After a vehicle has been successfully purchased, a proforma invoice will be issued to the buyer. Full payment must normally be completed within two to three business days unless otherwise agreed in writing. Once Xaurora AB has been instructed to place a bid or secure a vehicle purchase on behalf of the buyer, such instruction is considered binding. Payment is considered completed only once funds have been received in the bank account of Xaurora AB.

7. Payment Methods

Payments must be made through verified bank transfer to the official bank account of Xaurora AB unless otherwise agreed in writing. Xaurora AB reserves the right to request verification of the source of funds for any transaction and may suspend or cancel a transaction if the source of funds cannot be reasonably verified. Deposits sent through reversible payment methods may be subject to additional verification.

8. Currency and Exchange Rates

Vehicle purchases may involve multiple currencies including Japanese Yen, Swedish Krona, Euro, or United States Dollar. Exchange rates may fluctuate between the time of inquiry and the time of purchase. The buyer accepts responsibility for any price differences caused by currency fluctuations. The applicable exchange rate will be determined at the time the purchase transaction is executed.

9. Late Payments

Failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe may result in additional costs including storage fees, seller penalties, or exchange rate adjustments. Xaurora AB reserves the right to cancel the transaction and retain the deposit if payment is not completed within the specified timeframe.

10. Failure to Complete Purchase

If the buyer fails to complete payment after a vehicle has been purchased on their behalf, the buyer agrees to reimburse Xaurora AB for any losses, fees, transport costs, administrative costs, or other expenses incurred as a result of the failed transaction. This may include penalties imposed by sellers, auction houses, logistics providers, or other third parties involved in the transaction.

11. Seller Cancellation

In the event that a seller withdraws or cancels a vehicle prior to completion of the transaction, Xaurora AB will make reasonable efforts to refund the deposit to the buyer minus any costs already incurred during the sourcing or negotiation process. The buyer remains responsible for any costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.
